Early Career Professionals Working Group
The Early Career Professionals Working Group (ECPWG) is led by CANSES executive members Drs. Sara Thompson, Veronica Kitchen, and Audrey Gagnon.
The ECPWG brings together members who are graduate students or have recently begun their professional careers to explore and discuss relevant issues related to conducting research on violent extremism, including, for example, methods, ethical considerations, and how to think about and protect researcher safety. Recognizing that researching extremism and related issues can be isolating (as there may be few other colleagues engaged in this type of research at your institution), the ECPWG also serves as a mechanism for connecting members, so that you may share experiences, discuss potential collaborations, and otherwise engage with one another.
