Purpose
Welcome to the Canadian Network for Research on Security, Extremism and Society (CANSES). The overarching goal of CANSES is to develop a national network that fosters communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing between researchers and practitioners, law enforcement and national security, and government policy- and decision-makers.
This goal includes providing assistance to and engagement opportunities for early career researchers. CANSES also serves to connect Canada with international partners working in security, extremism, and society spaces. CANSES is dedicated to creating, supporting, and communicating applied, policy-relevant, and operationally relevant research.
